William and Kate's Royal Wedding in London

Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided to tie the knot next year. After having a relationship for long time, both are going to wed on 29 April. The venue chosen is momentous Westminster, the place where the significant number of royal ceremonies took place, from weddings of the Queen and Queen Mother to Princess Diana's funeral in 1997.

Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales is the elder son of Prince of Wales, Charles and late Princess of Wales, Diana. He's second in line to the British Throne. He was born in 1982 in London Paddington. The prince attended Mrs Mynors School for a few years and became a student of London's Wetherby School later. The prince attended Berkshire's Ludgrove School as well. The prince was only 15 years-old when his mother Diana was passed away in a car mishap in Paris.

In 2001, Prince William joined Scotland's St Andrews University where he first met his fiancée. After getting enough work experience, the prince preferred to join Sandhurst's Royal Military Academy as an Officer Cadet. In December 2006 at Sandhurst, the prince was commissioned as an army officer in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen.

Catherine Elizabeth 'Kate' Middleton, the fiancée of Prince William of Wales is six months older than the prince. She was born and grew up in Berkshire. After studying in Marlborough College, she joined the University of St Andrews, where she first met the prince. During the university days, they started a relationship which has gained strong media attention. Meanwhile, there were some news on the couple's break-up but they reunited shortly.

In October 2010, while the couple was on a 10-day tour of Kenya's Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to celebrate the prince's success in his RAF helicopter search and rescue course, they became engaged. A few months later, on November 16, the prince's office at Clarence House made an announcement of their engagement.

British people have been delighted with the news of their prince's wedding and the government has announced a holiday throughout the UK to allow people celebrate the grand occasion, the Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding in London.
